Bird watching report
I saw the first Robin of the year on Saturday...Yes I did...and that makes my old heart a bit lighter for some reason.
I also spotted the loud-mouthed Mocking Bird that thinks it is so talented who has returned for another season of practice.
Another observation I made was that this familiar softness has returned to the feeling of the air outside.
I know! Softness is a very vague terminology but it's the only one I can come up with that a few certain other "country -type folk" can relate to with regards to what I was experiencing.
All I know is that it's a fact...after one has experienced months of cold sharpness to the winter atmosphere, the approach of spring does bring a soft feel to the ambiance of the out-of-doors. I also say, Hurry Spring, I and the Robins are waiting for you. The Robins quickly grow weary of frozen worms, when they can find them.
